Build Your Own Set - TacTiles
Choose exactly the symbols your child, student or client needs. Order as few as 1 tile or as many as 200 - there is no minimum and no maximum, just the tiles that are most useful to you.
TacTiles are durable, washable, 3D printed tactile communication symbols. They are a sturdy hands-on alternative to laminated paper visuals and are designed to last through everyday use in homes, classrooms and therapy settings. They support routines, transitions, choices, emotional regulation, toileting, food choices and AAC communication for autistic learners, SEND students, AAC users and people with visual impairment.
Choose your size:
• Standard (5cm) - the original TacTile size, suitable for most communication boards, choosing frames and daily routine strips.
• Large (9cm) - a scaled-up version designed to work with our 9cm boards and frames. Ideal for learners who benefit from a larger symbol or need easier handling. Also fantastic for classroom displays and calm areas.
Choose your tile type:
• Symbol Only - a raised tactile symbol with no text. Clean and distraction-free, ideal for symbol recognition.
• Vocab - a raised tactile symbol with the word or phrase printed beneath it. Great for supporting early reading and vocabulary alongside symbol recognition.
Tiles are also available in braille as a separate listing. If you need braille tiles or would like to find out more, please get in touch before ordering.
The more you order, the better the price. Single tiles start at £1.00 each for standard size and £2.00 each for large. Prices drop as your bundle grows, with savings of up to 55% on larger orders. The regular price shown on each variant reflects the single-tile rate multiplied by quantity, so you can see exactly how much you are saving by buying in a bundle.
Flexible wording: If you choose Vocab tiles, the text beneath each symbol can be personalised. For example, you might prefer “bathroom” instead of “toilet”, “biscuit” instead of “cookie”, or a pupil’s own name for personal tiles. Just let us know in your order notes.
Custom colours are available. Add your colour preference to the order notes at checkout.

Once you have chosen your symbols, add them to your order notes at checkout. List them by name and include your tile type preference if you are mixing Symbol Only and Vocab in one order. Include any wording preferences or colour requests too.
