Explore the Alphabet Through Touch

Our Pre-Braille Alphabet Tactile Tiles Set includes all 26 lowercase letters (a-z) in authentic Grade 1 Uncontracted Braille, 3D-printed onto our signature raised-dot tile format. Each tile features the correct UEB braille cell alongside the print letter, making this set a natural bridge between tactile and visual literacy.

Designed for learners who are visually impaired, deafblind, or who benefit from multisensory learning approaches, these tiles are durable, classroom-ready, and built to last.

For Pre-Braille learners:

  • We have designed a large Pre-Braille font perfect for those who are just beginning to explore. This font follows the size and space ratios of the RNIB guidelines but in a larger size for easier exploration.
  • We also have a small Pre-Braille font to bridge the gap between the large font and standard braille. As with the large font this font also follows the size and spacing ratios of the RNIB guidelines.

For Braille learners:

  • We have designed a Braille font that fully complies with the RNIB guidelines for standard Braille font. We designed this for learners who are ready for Braille.

Important: All tiles can be made at different sizes as per all of our other tiles and symbols, however to keep the Braille text to the correct sizing and ratios the text will remain the same on all sizes of tiles.
