Emotions TacTile Set (12 Tiles)

Description

The Emotions TacTiles set helps learners understand and share how they feel. It includes 12 tactile symbols: happy, sad, angry, excited, worried, calm, tired, shocked, upset, love, thumbs up, and thumbs down. Thumbs up and down can also show “like” and “dislike.”

Each Standard sized Tactile Tile is 5cm x 5cm (2 inches x 2 inches), larger sizes are available at extra cost due to extra material use.

Daily Use

Use these tiles during:

• Daily check-ins

• Circle time

• Difficult moments

Use these tiles during daily check-ins, difficult moments, or circle time. They are ideal for working with Zones of Regulation (coloured sets coming soon). Pair them with real situations or photos of facial expressions for learners with some vision.

Examples in Practice

• A learner is distressed. Instead of guessing, offer the tiles. They can choose “tired,” “worried,” or “angry.”

• Teachers can use the set for class check-ins, where learners share how they feel and think of ways to help each other.
